Contenido

Unit 1

- Key factors in winemaking: location, viticulture, winemaking, maturation, and bottling.

- How these key factors influence the main characteristics of the world's principal:
· Still wines
· Sparkling wines
· Fortified wines

- How to apply your knowledge to explain wine style and quality.

Unit 2

- How to taste wines, describe their characteristics, and evaluate quality using the WSET® Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine (SAT).

Assessment

Theoretical exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice and open-ended questions.

Blind tasting: 2 wines.

A minimum passing grade of 55% is required.

Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive a WSET certificate and a digital pin, and you will be entitled to use the associated WSET certified logo.
