Day 1 · Palette Knife · Spatula Techniques

✨ A complete experience to master the art of buttercream flowers.

What will you learn?

✔ American buttercream preparation: an exclusive, tested, and balanced recipe with the ideal consistency, smoothness, and perfect shine for spatula work.

✔ The art of spatula decoration: technique and mastery of proper spatula handling to sculpt, shape, and control every movement.

✔ Creating realistic flowers: you will learn to create defined petals, leaves with movement, delicate stems, and perfect petals for a beautiful daisy.

Additionally, we will work on coloring: how to achieve harmonious, natural tones and unique combinations.

✔ Final applied practice: complete decoration on an individual mini cake where you will integrate all the techniques learned.

✔ Your creation to take home: you will leave with your decorated mini cake and the knowledge to keep practicing.

DAY 2 · Piping Tip Techniques

✨ We dive deeper into the art of flowers using a piping bag.

What will you learn?

✔ American buttercream review: adjusting to the ideal consistency for piping to achieve firm, defined, and neat flowers.

✔ The art of piping: proper piping bag handling, pressure control, wrist movement, and the right use of different tips to shape your buttercream.

✔ Creating realistic flowers: you will learn step-by-step how to create detailed flowers such as:

Cherry blossoms, daisies, hydrangeas, and leaves, focusing on precision, volume, and clean lines in every petal.

✔ Applied final project: decorating a complete mini cake, integrating all the techniques learned.

✔ Take your creation home: you will leave with your finished mini cake and the technical tools to keep practicing.

Imparte

Romina Inés Heredia, a pastry enthusiast with over 20 years of experience in the sweet arts.

Throughout her career, she has explored a wide variety of techniques; however, her greatest focus and the source of her deepest satisfaction lie in cake decoration, especially using the spatula—her signature Palette Knife— and piping tips.

Her favorite medium is American Buttercream, with which she creates flowers so realistic they seem to release their own fragrance.

Her goal is clear: to guide each person in transforming their creations into true works of floral art, helping them stand out and ensuring every cake tells a story through its flowers.

Romina looks forward to sharing her knowledge and supporting others as they watch their talent bloom.
