The French Wine Scholar™ education program is the most advanced, comprehensive, and up-to-date French wine course, created by the Wine Scholar Guild and endorsed by the French Ministry of Agriculture.

This specialization program is designed for advanced wine students, whether they are professionals or enthusiasts. The certification provides students with in-depth knowledge of every wine region in France, helping them achieve a professional level of mastery in French wine.

• Topography, geography, soils, and their impact on the vine
• Grape varieties and their organoleptic profiles

• Regions: Alsace, Champagne, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Jura, Savoie, Loire, Bordeaux, Southwest, Languedoc, Roussillon, Rhône, Provence, Corsica
• Wine industry trends, economics, and current regional challenges
• Learning objectives that provide detailed evaluation criteria for French wine mastery

Upon passing you will receive

Upon successful completion, you will receive your Official Certificate and Pin for French Wine Scholar™, and you will be entitled to use the post-nominal FWS after your name (e.g., John Smith, FWS).
