What is the Culinary Trends class?

The class Culinary Trends is one of the most anticipated moments for students in the Bachelor of Culinary Artsprogram. It is the stage where, after nearly three years of training, they can put their technical skills, theoretical knowledge, and, above all, their creativity to the test.
For three weeks, students dedicate themselves to designing an original menu, guided by a guest chef recognized for their experience and contemporary vision of cuisine. The result is a complete gastronomic experience presented to a select group of chefs, journalists, entrepreneurs, and professionals from the culinary industry, both national and international.

The menu, which usually consists of several courses, includes appetizers, main courses, desserts, and petit fours, carefully paired with wine pairings designed by the students themselves. Each dish is presented personally to the guests, who hear directly from the creators about the inspiration, ingredients, and techniques behind every proposal.

The experience culminates with a space for dialogue and feedback, where guest experts share their observations, highlighting the young chefs' strengths and offering advice to further refine their professional development.
More than just a class, Culinary Trends is a showcase of the talent, innovation, and commitment that characterizes Culinary's future chefs.
